This class is designed for everyone, from complete beginners to those looking to enhance their skills. Under the expert guidance of Greg Atwood—a master artisan with over fifty years of experience—you’ll embark on a hands-on journey through the time-honored techniques of stained glass.

You’ll learn about traditional lead came methods, diving into the heritage and craftsmanship that have defined stained glass for centuries. The curriculum covers essential topics like pattern design, safety precautions, cutting techniques, assembly, and soldering. Throughout the course, you’ll have the opportunity to choose or your own design, ensuring your project reflects your unique vision.

By the end of the five weeks, you’ll leave with a beautiful piece that not only showcases your creativity but also embodies the enduring legacy of stained glass art. With this foundation, your stained glass creations can last for decades, becoming cherished pieces that you can pass down through generations. If you’re inspired to continue your journey, you can re-enroll and take on larger projects! Into DIY? Past students have drafted and created their own stained glass panels for cabinets and bookcases.
